Mission U

What is Mission U?

Why does Mission U exist?

Mission U exists because we believe biblical education is for everyone. We believe it is a tragedy that so many Christians today have only a puddle-deep understanding of their own faith. And, we believe finding the right resources to explore faith should always be free and easy to access.

What is Mission U?

Mission U is an online resource of free classes in various areas of Christian studies. Our first class, releasing on January 1st of 2021, is Theology 101. Our courses seek to be on the level you would expect at an undergraduate college. We aim to make our courses challenging and insightful, yet easy to understand.

How does Mission U work?

Each class at Mission U involves a series of sections. Each involves the following aspects available on that section's assignment sheet:

-Lectures. Each section begins with a video lecture that typically lasts 30-60 minutes.

-Readings. Next, readings are assigned. This include readings from a textbook, and articles found online.

-Writing assignments. Next, each section includes a writing assignment where you will be asked to write one page to one paragraph answering a series of questions.

-Quizzes. Finally, each section concludes with a 10 question, multiple choice quiz. If you wish to calculate a grade for yourself, you can record and average these quiz scores for the course.

While all these aspects are available, know that you can take courses however you want. Some people might participate in only the lectures, others only the lectures and readings, others might participate in all aspects of the course. It's all up to you.
