Every Sunday in Mission Kids, we want children of all ages to be able to be safe, have fun, and experience the love of Jesus through games, teaching, and community. All of our leaders are background-checked, and we seek to provide a place for your child that is safe, secure, and that maintains policies and procedures to assure all children are protected at all times.
Early Childhood
Our weekly environment is created especially for your infants (six weeks through three years old). We know things are busy at this stage of life and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways. We are ready for them and our leaders can't wait to meet them!
Preschool
In The Lodge, we believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with preschool children. Everything we do is meant to allow them to feel safe having a blast and to grow in big ways. Be on the lookout for fun crafts and big games. We look forward to helping your preschoolers learn more about God. This area is for children from age 3 to Kindergarten.
It is our hope that your child will learn:
- God MADE me.
- God LOVES me.
- Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.
Elementary
At The Summit, we believe that fun is oftentimes the best way to learn. We also know how important it is to have leaders that care. We want kids to see how God's Word can change everything about our lives and how amazing life can be with a relationship with Him. This area is children from 1st to 5th grade.
Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Your First Visit
Here's what to expect when visiting Mission Kids for the first time:
To start, you can find our Mission Kids check in table (conveniently located by the entrance to the auditorium). Our staff and volunteers will help get your children signed up and checked in.
Children between six weeks and three years old can be dropped off at our nursery. Children over age 3 will go with their parents to service for the first three songs of worship, after which they will be dismissed to go with their leaders to the Mission Kids experience.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
How Check-in Works
Before Service: You can check-in your child at our check-in desk. You and your child will be given name tags with numbers that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to the Mission Kids area and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
